The prestige carrack of King Henry VIII was launch in 1514 at Woolwhich, but appeared quickly top-heavy. It was completely remodelled in Erith in 1536 same place, time and method than the Mary Rose. Here it is shown with richly embroidered sails as a diplomatic vessel, taking Henry VIII to the summit with Francis I of France at the Field of the Cloth of Gold.
