This is a ariel perspective historic view of Greenfield Indiana the way it looked in 1886. The town has been completly reconstructed down to the water cisterns in the back yards of the historic homes depicted in this high detail illustration. The illustration highlights the individuals who palyed an important part in helping to found this city depicted in cameo portraits as a border treatment around the city. There are over 60 buildings illustrated on this print that no longer exsists. Each building was pain-stakenly recreated by researching old historic files and library images. Then the city was re-created block by block. A true one of a kind art work.
