There once was a golf course in Grand Rapids, MI that, like all the courses I played, failed to provide the relaxation the game is supposed to offer. One day I realized this particular course had some of the most magnificent groves of trees and shrubs. I showed up one day before they closed the course, to simply walk around and snap some pictures. The owner of the course said, take a cart. It's on us. I love Grand Rapids. Looking at these pictures I remember how nature can provide what the game of golf cannot.....inner peace.
