Our tote bags are made from soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric and include a 1" black strap for easy carrying on your shoulder.   All seams are double-stitched for added durability.   Each tote bag is machine-washable in cold water and is printed on both sides using the same image.

This was a gift to a person who is restoring a prairie. This year she has 14 herons gathering on the banks of the Little Sioux River. The tote bag was well received.

Artist's Description

Grover Washington, Jr., born (December 12, 1943 � December 17, 1999) was an American jazz-funk / soul-jazz saxophonist. Along with George Benson, John Klemmer, David Sanborn, Bob James, Chuck Mangione, Herb Alpert, and Spyro Gyra, he is considered by many to be one of the founders of the smooth jazz genre. He wrote some of his material and later became an arranger and producer. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Washington made some of the genre's most memorable hits, including "Mister Magic," "Reed Seed," "Black Frost," "Winelight," "Inner City Blues" and "The Best is Yet to Come". In addition, he performed very frequently with other artists, including Bill Withers on "Just the Two of Us" (still in regular rotation on radio today), Patti LaBelle on "The Best Is Yet to Come" and Phyllis Hyman on "A Sacred Kind of Love". He is also remembered for his take on the Dave Brubeck classic "Take Five", and for his 1996 version of "Soulful Strut". Washington had a preference for black nicke...

Jerome L. Vaden is an international watercolor artist whose professional art career spans more than 30 years. He has participated in the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver for the first five years, and was featured in a one-man 30-day art exhibit in the Town Hall of Littleton, Colorado. These are just two of the many exhibits where his unique displays are presented with the theme of the artwork. Because of his love of music, he created the original playbill It AinĂ¯t Nothin But The Blues, for the Denver Center for Performing Arts Theatre; the play was nominated for a Tony Award in 1999.
