Description
Watercolor painting of a guitar headstock.
I do not play guitar, but I tried it for a while, a very short while. Years ago, I thought it would be fun to learn to play guitar, so I took some lessons from a very nice elderly lady. The problem was, it hurt my fingers. I tried to tough it out, but it got the best of me, and that was one of the few times I have given up on learning something new.
It wasn't the fact it was difficult to learn the instrument, it was the pain on my fingertips!
So, I painted this in memory of my guitar lessons from a sweet older lady.
I painted it on Fabriano 140 lb. hot press watercolor paper, Winsor Newton pigments, 9"x12"
