These beautiful neon signs sit atop the old Hotel Earle building in Roanoke, Virginia. They have been "saved" by the City and other interested parties, and refurbished for all to enjoy for years to come! The coffee pot sign lights up in stages, bit by bit, until the whole image is lit--a great addition to the night sky in the downtown area of Roanoke. Roanoke is the "Star City of the South", so named for the large neon star atop Mill Mountain, overlookimg the City, and thus setting the precedent for the delightful love of neon! The fine art america watermark will not appear on purchased prints. I recommend printing my photos on glossy or luster paper for sharper images and more saturated colors, rather than matte paper. Canvas would be another good choice, also.

Spring Shows: One of my ceramic vases was juried into the 22nd Annual Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild Show at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC, but the show was cancelled due to the 2020 Covid-19 Virus Pandemic. I do hope that the many art shows that were cancelled recently will be able to return next year. My heart goes out to artists all over the world affected by this giant hiccup in their careers. Hopefully, they are able to spend their hiatus in deep creativity, kind of like a "baby boom" of sorts, except an artistic boom, of course! Stay safe and healthy everyone.
