The " Hahnenkamm " is located in Kitzbuehel, Austria. This downhill-race starts each year in March. Famous winners are: Karl Schranz (Austria) - Franz Klammer (Austria) - Ken Read (Canada) - Steve Podborski (Canada) - Hermann Maier (Austria) - Daron Rahlves (USA). This image shows the first part, immediately after the start.

Thanks, Juergen, for those nice comments on my European paintings. The window in Kitzbuehel, if I recall correctly, is at the end of the ma!rketplace in the old town, second story. It was such a beautiful, sunny, warm day when I spied that window....although truth be told, there were many, many windows there that were 'paintworthy'. Wish I could go along with you, what a wonderful area!
