A black and white portrait of a smiling little boy drawn with graphite pencils. I couldn't help but smile while drawing this little guy. Could be the contagious smile or the pinchable cheeks but, mostly, I think it's the happiness in his eyes. So far, I've drawn his brother and cousin all of them at around the age of 1 year. The family is blessed with the loveliest little ones, each with a cherub face and expressive eyes. I don't title portraits of children by name unless it's requested, so I've been naming these after their eyes. There's "Bright Eyes" and "Thoughtful Eyes" and now "Happy Eyes." I suppose they're a series now!
