This is a view from the Highline Trail at the summit of Going to the Sun Highway in Glacier National Park. What a beautiful place.

One of the scariest trails I have ever taken, the beginning of the High Line Trail is along a rock cliff with a trail carved out that is just wide enough for people to pass each other and not guard on the outside, just a straight drop down to the road "Going to the Sun Road". There was a garden hose type railing that you can hold on to, which I did. I am afraid of heights so this was a challenge. the view is beautiful up here and I want very much to go back and finish the hike. There were any trees like this old snag that just couldn't endure the harsh cold winters at this elevation.

I have an incredible love for the out doors, followed by my love to photograph all of creation. I have been doing this for many years and have quite a huge collection of images and prints. I think, without a doubt, that my favorite thing to photograph is the finite detail of nature, next would be wildlife, and scenics. Some of my favorite locations are Yellowstone Park, Glacier Park, Crater Lake, Banff Alberta, and the West Coast. I love being where there is alot of fresh air and a trail to hike. I also enjoy kayaking, snowshoeing, and x-country skiing. All of these give me unlimited opportunity to do what I love so I can share what I see with you.
