Excellent speedy service. This was a gift for my Son’s 50th Birthday. He was absolutely delighted with it. He was born that same year and is an avid golfer, a perfect gift for him. It is brilliant. He has hung it in his office. A wonderful talking point.

Even though I knew the measurements, I found the picture small, I think also because it was costly, the exchange of money and shipping. I can’t do it again. The painting itself is lovely. Don’t want to rate it.

I gave this as a gift to a friend who is a HUGE Grace Jones fanatic and she was overwhelmed and overjoyed. The quality of the framing , the print quality, everything about this purchase was spot on. Thank you so much!

Healing: nanatawihowin (Cree, curing ceremony)
Here you will find a traditional Hoop Dancer, this dance was originally used in curing ceremonials. The Snapping Turtle is endurance throughout time as it is a pre-historic animal.
The frogs, from the tadpoles to adults indicates human transformation from ignorance to wisdom.
The beaded 'flaps' along the bottom are baby wraps used in cradle boards to secure the baby. The left cradle board straps are for a girl, and the right is for a boy.
The lower center spirit figure is the essence of our Ancestors. Image is approximately 21" x 30"

Welcome to my workshop. I am certified Indigenous artisan of Cree First Nations heritage who, for the past 40+ years, have been art-making and writing in my home studio. I am now residing within the beautiful boundaries of Minnesota with my family and pugs. As child exploring the rich northeastern woodlands of the U.S. and Canada territory during the 1940-50's is where my spirit was exposed to a rich and varied environment that influences my artwork today.
This life has been a circular journey, through dark canvases to the open plains, a journey back to the beginning. My work can be found in museum, corporate and private collections throughout the U.S., Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, and Japan.
