I told myself I was going to try and not make any more photos of that old Hope Valley cabin this year which normally helps me push myself to get more creative. Yesterday as I was driving through Hope Valley making photos of Autumn, the Aspen, the mountains, the meadows, I had driven past the spot where the cabin resides a couple times and saw another view with a smaller more decrepit cabin and couldn't resist to stop in this spot again. I made sure to not include the cabin that everyone shoots and setup my shots to make a big panorama of this scene. I found that I couldn't really capture the moment like I wanted with a single frame so I put in some extra work to stitch 16 frames together and was very pleased with the results!
If you look closely where the colorful Aspen make their way up the mountain on the right, that small Mountain Peak is called Stevens Peak. Underneath it hidden in the woods is another small cabin with a very old wood shake roof. I thought that it completed this scene nicely. I hope everyone is having a good day and enjoys this view of a "Hidden Autumn Cabin in the Valley of Hope"
