Love this one too! Can you tell I am drawn to animal compositions.....cheers Jan
Ken Day replied:
Thank you Jan. It don't take much viewing of your photography to see your love for animals. I suppose people could say the same about me.

Wowee, Ken! Such wonderful textures and a fascinating subject beautifully painted. f/v
Ken Day replied:
Thank you AnnaJo. My heart fell for these beautiful friendly creatures the moment I laid eyes on then. It only seem fitting that I should paint them. Its forehead was a maze of texture. I could see no other way the bring out its beauty by leaving out any. So I tried to capture it all. They love the hillside or then flat ground and enjoy roughage more the grasses.

Long time no see! Speaking of SEE, I don't think I've seen this one yet! I saw your picture go by and thought I would see what you were up to! FV... I love the Highlander Cows... They have such nice hair.. Kind of like "your hair" hehe.. VF

Just love the texture you have brought out in the tousled hair. The texture of the grass is so playful as well. Crazy perspective really makes this one.

Ken, thanks for your comment. I'm glad you wrote so I could go to see your work. I enjoyed especially the animal paintings. I love the impressionistic style and the interesting angles you portray. All the best!
