Very nicely done - great quality. I got this primarily to show others the amazing CymaScope "sound pictures" (as it is easily carried as opposed to the beautiful "Song of the Sun" framed picture now hanging in my home) and to explain the science to them. Everyone should know about this!

This site promotes the photographic art of Jim Thompson. Jim likes photographing birds, especially hummingbirds, wildlife, butterflies, trains, landscapes, and the Milky Way. But his portfolio contains many other subjects as well. His life in photography offically began when he was in the United States Navy in 1966. His ship anchored in Hong Kong Harbor for a few days of R&R. While there Jim purchased his first 35mm camera, an Asahi Pentax 35mm along with a couple of lenses. and lots of film so he could photograph the Chinese culture including architecture, people, and special places. Current cameras are the Nikon Z-9 and the Z-8. Lenses vary with time but are generally pro-quality. The City of Rocklin asked Jim to do several jobs...

Thank you Jurgen! Please let me reciprocate after I return home from Costa Rica after Dec 2. Yes, it was cloudy that day. I thought it would make a dramatic picture. The old courthouse is still used for what it was designed.

A great historic architectural image, Jim!
Lori Frisch
Beautiful!
Jim Thompson replied:
Thank you again Lori! The court licensed this pic to use several years ago.
