I love this artists work and I have several of her creations in various mediums. She’s talented in whatever art forms she does. This piece spoke to me because of the colors and what I see in the design.

I have discussed with Trevor his Chester cat as the stand in for my Augie, of whom I have no photographs. It gives me great comfort to have him with my other late cats who got me through life with their compassion. I love Trevor's work and will continue to collect it.

About Jim Thompson
This site promotes the photographic art of Jim Thompson. Jim likes photographing birds, especially hummingbirds, wildlife, butterflies, trains, landscapes, and the Milky Way. But his portfolio contains many other subjects as well. His life in photography offically began when he was in the United States Navy in 1966. His ship anchored in Hong Kong Harbor for a few days of R&R. While there Jim purchased his first 35mm camera, an Asahi Pentax 35mm along with a couple of lenses. and lots of film so he could photograph the Chinese culture including architecture, people, and special places. Current cameras are the Nikon Z-9 and the Z-8. Lenses vary with time but are generally pro-quality. The City of Rocklin asked Jim to do several jobs...
