Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This beautiful, restored and picturesque lighthouse has resided on Tybee Island, GA, since 1732, when it was ordered by Georgia Governor, General James Oglethorpe. It has 178 steps, culminating with a 9 foot lens! The light has been providing safe entrance to the Savannah River for 270 years!
Spring 2021 Award and Honors: I am pleased to say that two of my photos have been accepted into the 24th Annual Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild Spring Art Show taking place at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC. One of them, "Seeking the Sun," was chosen for an honorable mention! The other photo is called, "Coneflower Jumble." "Seeking the Sun" "Coneflower Jumble" Spring Shows: One of my ceramic vases was juried into the 22nd Annual Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild Show at the Myrtle Beach Art Museum in Myrtle Beach, SC, but the show was cancelled due to the 2020 Covid-19 Virus Pandemic. I do hope that the many art shows that were cancelled recently will be able to return next year. My heart goes out to artists all...
