Description
A lily flower, representing fertility, is the central image of this piece. Sketches from Leonardo Da Vinci's study of the developing fetus, along with personal notes surround a pregnant belly. In a window of canvas, the lyrics from Matt Pond PA's song "Lily Two" are written in mirror-writing. The canvas is sewn together in blocks and at the bottom of the piece is written "be just who you are" (a line from Matt Pond PA's "Lily Two").
