A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. FWIW, this appears to be the 1st HMS Royal Sovereign launched in 1637, broken up in 1697. The HMS Royal Sovereign that was at Trafalgar was the 3rd ship to bear the name, built in 1786, broken up in 1841.

This is not only a fine painting but of enormous sentimental value since the subject is that of my Great-great-great grandfather's ship - Captain Edward Rotheram - and Admiral Collingwood's in the Battle of Trafalgar ! It is one of the best paintings of the ship I have ever seen and amongst a number of Bill's great works I possess and gives constant pleasure.
