Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The Hubble Telescope has brought us wonders from deep in the Cosmos. This is an original digital painting of a starscape deep within space. Hubble one. It is not a manipulated photograph nor is it scanned.
Art is in the eye of the beholder. I will not write in the third person here. That sounds pretentious and, most of the time, inaccurate. Being in the last third of my life, it becomes clear good health is the finest gift possible. Again, nature provides the most beautiful inspirations. Walk into your own garden. Stroll a beach or a path in the woods. Watch the sun and clouds or a kitten playing with a piece of string. Pay attention to the faces you see...they each tell their own story. Create something wonderful that has a piece of your own heart on it. The emotions that drive us human beings also drive our art. The viewer is respectfully reminded my works are copyright protected. Please visit me often. Kindest...

This is beautiful -- the soft, subtle colors give way to the movement that draws you in -- very nice work!

Thank you Sonia. When the Hubble telescope started photographing deep space, I was enchanted and wanted to paint something to honor this achievement by mankind. Glad you like it.
