Photograph titled "Hummingbird Perched on Bamboo of Japanese Lantern" Hummingbirds have always been one of my favorite birds. Living in the Midwest I would have a few visit my feeder during the summer. Now living in the desert of California I am surround by hundreds of the amazing little creatures. Busily chirping at each other and chasing each other from their favorite feeders. Now that I have had more exposure to these little guys I have realized how cute they sound. I've nicknamed them my "Little Squeakers"
