Great composition and light....creating the tunnel was an inspiration!

Excellent work Lisa, full of foreboding.

This is so unique, Lisa! Not just the unique point of view, the unusual perspective, the creative processing --- but the mood itself is very powerful and dark, suggesting a foreboding sense of something about to happen! L/F

You are brave. Makes me think of a girl here in my village who did not go away. V

I am not happy with this towel at all. You can't see the face because it is bigger than what I viewed. I would like to send it back

This was a birthday gift for my aunt. The flower was one of her mother's favorite and hummingbirds were her sisters favorite. Every year we go to the beach in memory of her sister so this was just perfect! Thank you!

I have been collecting this particular artist for almost 40 years now. It is such an unexpected and simple pleasure to have available her memory dreamscape on a practical towel, companionable with my seaside visits.

Artist's Description

Have you ever braced yourself for the train you can see coming? "Hurtling Toward Me" by Lisa Knechtel is digital art based on a photograph of a train coming down the tracks directly toward the viewer. This photograph was taken in Canmore, Alberta. Artist's Commentary: I took this shot on the tracks with the train hurtling towards me. When I was doing my post production in photoshop, I was inspired to create a tunnel like feeling to express how it felt lying in wait. I can still remember the pulse of the train down the tracks and the adrenaline rush as I chose my moment. Artist's Finishing Recommendations: FAA's fashionable and luminescent Metal Print would be my pick to play up the contrast of light and dark in this image. There are numerous attractive custom framing/matting options available to suit any decor. I encourage you to experiment by clicking on the finishing icons located above this text to choose your favorite finishing. FEATURED IN Photographic Art | Augus...
