We watched this guy fish most of the afternoon catching a variety of sizes of fish. Each time he would fish in the deeper water and plunge his head in the water after a fish, he would shake a bit, and fluff his feathers to get them dry.

Yes JEFF. When they do their thing it is really strange looking. I have another photo of a blue heron walking with his back directly to me and he is either fluffing or the wind is picking up the feathers. I just looks weird I think.
