Amazing photo! I was thrilled to buy cards with this image. I used it for Mother’s Day cards and thank you notes. All recipients were delighted with the image.

Beginning with an outstanding photograph, the ability to crop and rotate the image, along with quality card stock, envelopes and box. The Best!

I bought notecards, so I don't really have a photo to upload, but thank you for having this particular image available! I have been looking for it for a number of years. The artist lost two sons in World War I. He also painted the murals in the Chapel of the Dead in the Jesuit parish in Paris where his sons are memorialized the same year he painted this image, which he later gave to a family member who was ordained as a priest. This was Pierre Teilhard de Chardin's favorite image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus . . . he gave a card of this image to a friend during World War II, and he had it on his desk when he died in New York City in 1955. If you have any knowledge of where the original painting is, I would love to know! I hope to go to France someday and would love to see the original painting.

Artist's Description

I had never met a similar artist with such energy, pressured speech, association ranks and heat. I remember that I dreaded to meet such a recognized artist But he met me with a smack on each cheek, I did not answer it I wondered, but rather answers to questions I had not yet thought of. Perhaps it is also the case in the face of the images. I remember luminous figures, riders, winged beings and centaurs, as from another dimension, who stood stacked along the walls. The furniture, the floor and the clothes, the same color trio, red, yellow and blue, in the paintings. These colors Are famous. even people who do not know much about art, know this distinctive world and elongated shapes.

It was similar to an artistic sect. My uncle, the famous artist, was the boss of this Family group, and everyone else just circled around him all the time. He was Our love, Our sun and Our meaning of life. We all wanted him to see us and talk to us and love us. And we the kids all wanted to be great artists, just like him. But his sister, my mother, always warned me: Art wasn't considered proper work. So she absolutely didn't want me to be an artist if I could manage to be something else. So I studied Law, and technically I'm a lawyer. But really, inside my soul, I'm...
