I just got back from one of my FAV places--Siesta Key, Florida in Sarasota. I paintined this while on the beach there. The sand is white like baking powder and is said to have healing properties. If you have never been to Sarasota and you like art, you MUST go visit. Check out the Ringling Museum of Art, the Selby Botanical Gardens and St. Armands Circle. Sarasota is not your common beach. I love, love, love it!! I also teach watercolor there at the LeLu Coffee Lounge in the Siesta Key Village. Try their nights in Florida coffee. You will LOVE it!!
