The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
A fanciful and nostalgic poster-style artwork of an old-fashioned, two-scoop ice cream with a double-wide cone. Two large scoops of ice cream top the cone, one vanilla and the other chocolate. The artwork was derived from an original photograph of this very oversized ice cream cone sign for an old ice cream shop we all grew up with. The shop is now gone but the cone remains as part of the local history.
