New York City just wouldn't be the same without these 3 icons... The majestic Manhattan Bridge, the famous Empire State Building and the faithful yellow cab. -- Artist Notes -- Like many other artists I have shot this location many times. At the time I was so rushed and had to keep moving off the street because of the traffic and other photographers blocking my view. I was just about to leave when I saw this taxi turning into the street and thought it would be great to marry these 3 icons of Manhattan, so I snapped one last frame and ran off to capture the sunset by the water. It wasn't until I saw this masterpiece again in post production that I really fell in love with it. The dream-like golden afternoon hues, especially on the Empire State Building really make this image for me.
