I like this one very much! I admire your versatility and skill and also share your appreciation for old buildings and things. I now live in a small rural community on a small farm with loads of barns and outbuildings waiting to be painted. Were you also in the Navy (a fellow 'squid')?

Stunning! It looks amazing as a 60 inch metal print. Print quality is outstanding, great packaging kept everything secure even though the box was open and falling apart when it arrived via UPS. Client will be delighted.Buy big, buy metal, you won't regret it!

This is, basically, the photo that made us want to go there. We finally did. Although we have many lovely photos from our own trip, lack of a helicopter caused us not to get this one. So when we decided to adorn the walls of our new house w some Lake Louise pix I went looking online and found this. Something struck me about it, though...the glacier is dirty. Must have been taken during the few weeks that there isn't snow every day. The glacier was sparkling white when we were there (June) because almost every day it got a fresh coat of snow. Dirt aside, looks great and we love it.

I absolutely love this print. Unfortunately the blemishes from the technique or originally on the metal do create a distraction from the piece. I positively disagree with vendor’s statement that it’s part of the process and not to be considered a flaw...baloney!!! I have other metal prints that have no flaws. I will give them credit for trying to resolve the issue with 3 attempts with the print but each arrived with flaws. However, I am keeping it because I love this print so much and I will live with it.

Beautiful, vivid colors, just as advertised. Looks great in our newly renovated basement/pool room. Excellent quality, would highly recommend this purchase.

Disappointed. Image of gator was unrecognizable.

Artist's Description

An old tractor stands idle in a field in Georgia. The ol;d farmhouse in the middle distance is abandoned and there are small butterflies fluttering around the grasses. This original egg tempera painting is on birch panel and represents the condition of much of the farmland in Georgia. Quiet, peaceful and serene. Many of the farm houses have been abandoned for life in the city or a subdivision.

About Peter Muzyka

I was raised on a farm in rural Pennsylvania and whenever I got the chance, I drew and eventually painted. I started learning advanced art techniques in the mid 1960's under Pennsylvania artist Andrew Palencar. He had a mastery of old masters' styles and took the time with a few of his serious art students to help us develop our skill levels. In the 70's I studied painting and illustration techniques under popular animal artists Robert C. Kray and George Luther Schelling. I won 1st place in oils and acrylics for a train painting in the US Navy-wide Juried Art Show in Norfolk VA in 1974 and later was selected to develop murals related to the National Bicentennial in Luzerne County, PA. In the 70's, I received many commissions for portraits...
