Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Have not received my Can’t send photo…. Have not received my purchase
I originally wrote this haiku and illustrated it in 1975, when I was 17 years old and my family made a journey from our Wyoming cabin to visit our long-time Navajo friends on the deserts of Arizona. We helped our friends from a very remote area herd their sheep, and some of those experiences inspired poems and drawings. I have edited the poem and added color to the sketch.
I have been an artist since I was knee high to a short-horned locust. My dad, Willoughby Senior (FAA) was a professional artist and writer and I have stepped in his shoes since I was born, though he drew horses better than I did when I was a kid. My family lived in a hand-hewn log cabin we built ourselves in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and had no water or electricity. I love my life with my husband and family in Wyoming among the horses, gophers, deer, antelope, coyotes, red-tailed hawks, and the wild landscape. My work is driven by the land, animals, wild plants and birds I have come to know so well. Hummingbirds still try to get nectar from my upturned fingers. My artwork consists of all these things and more...
