Description
The towering statue of Lord Shiva as seen from inside the premises of the Murudeshwara Temple. Standing 123 feet (37 m) in height makes this statue visible from great distances. This statue is the tallest statue of Lord Shiva in the world and took about 2 years to build.
Also seen is the statue of Ravana with the holy Atmalinga in his hands, and Lord Ganesha disguished as a Brahmin kid. To know more click the temple link in the above paragraph.
