The beach towel is really just for laying on inasmuch as it is too big and heavy to put around your body, which is just fine. The artwork in it is beautiful. I can't wait to use it.

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,
Taken from my blog:
I was going through some paintings in my studio and stumbled upon this one that I had done some time ago. I had initially put it aside calling it a WIP and had fully intended to go back and do more work on it but never did. Id shown it as a WIP to some arteeeest friends who had liked it very much as is and then just rolled it up and forgot about it. Its hugenot exactly sure off hand how large but its on unstretched canvas.Id say about 4ft X 5ft. What this piece represents is (and I remember painting it during one of those dry spiritual periods when I was trying desperately to pray but just couldnt find the words) our prayers, which are sometimes nothing more than moans and groans.but are interpreted for us by the Holy Spirit giving us a direct and uninterrupted line to our Father. This happens often during our times of spiritual emptiness when we are reaching out...

This is lovely. It reminds me of the verse that describes our prayers as wafting up like incense to the Father. Beautiful to look at and an even more beautiful expression of the Grace and Mercy He pours out on us.

More. I especially like the bottom and the vague figures. I have often worked with similar sorts of suggestions of figures, haven't posted much. But the colors there are so right and especially for the upper visionary part.

Thank you so very much for the long explanation and background in the Discussion section, Ruth. I like this painting very much, and was moved the moment I saw it in the Sales section. I feel it so special, too. And I am glad that you decided to show it as it is. I would not change a thing.
