I bought this little carry pouch for a girlfriend who went back to college at 71 yrs old, so proud of her.

Artist's Description

This image of Jackson Glacier was taken in August of 2000. When I was there in 2000, it was said that at the current rate of warming, there would be no glaciers in the year 2025. I photographed these types of scenes as much as I could. Jackson Glacier is on the East side of the Park, along the Going to the Sun Highway. Jackson Glacier is one of the best roadside view glaciers in the park. Jackson Glacier's neighboring glacier, Blackfoot Glacier, were once joined, however, separated today, they still rank amoung the largest glaciers in the park. The old saying "mountains make their own weather,," is true at Logan Pass. Straddling the Continental Divide, the pass is influenced by maritime weather from the west and by arctic weather from the north. These two systems often collide along the divide, causing precipitation and unsettled weather, Snow and freezing temperatures usually occur every month of the year at Logan Pass. I have an incredible love for the out doors, followed by my love to photograph all of creation. I have been doing this for many years and have quite a huge collection of images and prints. I think, without a doubt, that my favorite thing to photograph is the finite detail of nature, next would be wildlife, and scenics. Some of my favorite locations are Yellowstone Park, Glacier Park, Crater Lake, Banff Alberta, and the West Coast. I love being where there is alot of fresh air and a trail to hike. I also enjoy kayaking, snowshoeing, and x-country skiing. All of these give me unlimited opportunity to do what I love so I can share what I see with you.
