Flamingos, in full mating season plumage. The less flashy ibis makes its way among the cage of bird legs, looking for scraps. This watercolor was created using a mask-and-pour technique and is 31 x 39", archivally matted and framed to 42 x 50". It was juried into the "Birds in Art" exhibit 2014 at the Woodson Art Museum, and received the Winslow Homer Award from Juror Morton Solberg in the Florida Watercolor Society Exhibition.
