I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

Julia Longwing Butterfly - Dryas Julia
The Male’s wings are bright brownish orange above, with small black marks on the forewings; the female’s are dull orange-brown with black bands across their forewings. Below, the wing of both sexes are light brown with darker markings.
The longwing butterflies have unusually long lifespans and high fecundity rates, which largely result from their augmented diet. Instead of surviving on food stores from the larval stage or solely sipping flower nectar, adult longwing butterflies are avid pollen eaters. This trait makes them eminently suitable for butterfly farming and butterfly gardening. Also, adult longwings may live for several months, much longer than most butterflies.
