Description
Cypress knees peak up from the waters of the swamps and bayous of the Jean Lafitte Historical Park and Preserve near New Orleans. The dark water of the swamp creats a mirror like reflection of the cypress knees and the tree beside them. The swamps are alive with both animal and plant life. I don't know of any animals in this black and white photograph, but I would be shocked if there's not any. Plant life is every where. From the foreground to deep in the background of this photo plants are everywhere. We won't talk about bugs or mosquitoes, but trust me they are there too.
The title of this photograph is just a play on words, there should be a comma after knees. These cypress knees are deep in a Louisiana Bayou.
