I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Gorgeous photo on the bag. Loved that I could adjust the photo size to suit my preference. Wanted to use for going to the health food store as I need to replace the 15 year old canvas, washable bags I have now. These will not last as long as those canvas bags. I could even deal with slight fading when I needed to wash them. These do not feel washable. Cheap mesh "fabric" on the interior will tear. Disappointed in the fabric on the inside and outside.

I was hoping for a heavyweight cotton canvas bag to use for grocery shopping; this will not be it. I wanted a bag that would be washable. This has a cheap mesh fabric on the interior that will tear in short order. The exterior is some sort of nylon or other synthetic fabric that I do not feel comfortable washing. I guess I didn't realize what kind of fabric it was made of. It is beautiful but not useful for my needs.

I wanted some pretty tote canvas tote bags to replace the durable canvas bags I use for trips to the health food store. While certainly beautiful, this bag will not be useful for that purpose. The interior is made of that lightweight, cheap mesh fabric that tears with the slightest bit of stress on it. I was hoping for heavy canvas, but this is an odd fabric that will not hold up for what I wanted to use it for.

Perfect sunflower for a resting place on a tote

Artist's Description

This is from our trip to Glastonbury and visit to the Abbey. This is a view from outside into the Ladies Chapel. So, named because tradition holds that Mary the mother of Jesus is buried in the area. Tradition also holds Jesus Himself build a house on this site between the age of 13 and 30. His great Uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, was a tin merchant and took Jesus as a boy many times to this area of England. Enjoy!!!

Hi, my name is John D. Benson and I was born in Baltimore Maryland. I attended school in Baltimore County and studied at the Maryland Institute of Art. I have attended classes and workshops in Graz, Austria with Lou Rizzlo of North Western U. I have also had the privilege of studying with World Renowned Watercolor Artist " Charles Reid in 2010 in the Baltics. Comments by "Charles Reid" "John was in a class of mine on a Baltic Cruise. He is a delight to know, and his paintings capture whatever the subject matter is, beautifully. Anyone would be impressed looking at the paintings on his web site. John is a fine artist!" I have the talent that allows me to capture the person in Portraiture. Knowing the person does not matter, I just...
