Description
It has just rained and the sun is trying to burn off the overcast. The light glints off the wet pavement and cars. Rivulets and small puddles form. This is the small town of Langley on Whidbey Island. The 2 story red building is a tavern known as the "Dog House." Across the street, with marquee, is the "Clyde" movie theatre. When it rains in western Washington, we residents use it as a built-in excuse for indoor pursuits like reading, watching movies or sitting in taverns complaining about the weather.

Thanks for your comment, Perry. I just wish I could match your work. It is fantastic. This one looks like the burg I'm living in. I love a small town. From the looks of your photo, I'd say, like me, you've been around the block a few times. I'm working on a novel, and haven't produced any new stuff in too long a while. You inspire me to get back with the program - Thanks - J
