This photo is part of a series called "Small Wonders" that celebrates the beauty in the micro-landscape around the GrΓΌnewald Guild in Leavenworth, Washington.
Vonda Drees is a creative contemplative. She and her husband, Jim, recently served as directors of the Grunewald Guild in the Cascade Mountains of Washington from 2016 - 2020. The Guild is a place for the exploration of art, faith, and community. Vonda uses her artistic gifts and passion in facilitating retreats, workshops and classes. Her past work includes developing immersions and liturgical resources for LEAD, a non-profit growing Christian leaders. Her past experience with ARTreach in Houston, TX, a non-profit delivering arts programs to special needs groups, fed into her love for creating art in community.
