Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

I drove like a maniac to get to a favorite viewpoint for this storm. The results speak for themselves :)
While in college, Mick had the opportunity to work at St. Mary Lodge at the east entrance to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was in this magical place where he met several fellow students from other parts of the country who would change the direction of his life by introducing Mick to nature, the mountains, the guitar and singing, fly fishing, writing music, hiking, and -- most importantly -- the Single Lens Reflex camera! He had a chance to play with Pentacon, Yashica, Pentax, Nikon and other brands, leading cameras of the day. It opened up a whole new way of looking at the world, and started a hobby that quickly grew into a passion that has stood the test of many years. His first “real” camera was a Yashica “Electro-35”...

Ah, so true. I love this photograph. LOVE. The color of the sky is mysterious and the clouds are perfect. Capturing lightning is a mystery to me, and in this shot it is so clear!
Mick Anderson replied:
Without a lightning trigger, it is just a matter of LOTS of practice!! Sometimes I get lucky :) Thank you, Carlee, for the wonderful comment --and I'm glad you like it :))
Julie Hughes
Nice catch! I have tried to photograph lightening and only got one photo showing it, but it was a pink bolt that had some how wrapped around on itself..it was a long way off but I felt a sense of satisfaction catching it. You had to have been very happy when you captured this strike!
Mick Anderson replied:
Thank you very much for that wonderful comment, and I loved hearing about your experience! Keep trying and you'll catch a good one :))
Jeff Swanson
Awesome catch, Mick. Liked.
Mick Anderson replied:
We don't get the frequency of lightning that you get there in Nebraska, but when we do it's pretty spectacular!! Thanks for the kind comment :))
Jane Small
Mick !!!!! You just keep on surpassing yourself! Unbelievably striking and captivating. Such power frozen in time by your dedicated efforts and manic driving!!!! L/F
Mick Anderson replied:
Yes, it's the manic driving!! :))) Actually, I was several miles away using a telephoto -- and a hair trigger shutter button!! Thank you SO MUCH Jane for the delightful comments!! :)
Uri Baruch
I totally agree with Laurie !! (v/f).
Mick Anderson replied:
Thank you Uri!! I was lucky to be several miles away with a long tele lens :))
Laurie Search
