Artist's Description
I found this heard of beautiful horses east of Calgary near Strathmore. They were enjoying the sunny weather in one of the greenest pastures I've ever seen. They kindly allowed me to spend an hour with them, taking photos and watching as they grazed. Some of them seemed to pose for me while others came near and checked me out. Horses are very intelligent and inquisitive animals.
About Terry Reynoldson
For the best possible result, I recommend printing my color images on Somerset Velvet paper, which is a surface that gives these works an impressive fine art feeling. My black and white images will look best on Cool Tone Picture Rag: a surface that really shows off the subtle variety of tones. The Premium Archival Matte paper is a very nice choice as a lower-cost alternative for any of my artworks. ABOUT ME: I've been making art for thirty years, during which time I've created a wide variety of paintings, sculptures, drawings and performance artworks.
