Description
The 150 year old Walker Ranch homestead lies west of Boulder, Colorado in the mountains. Once a bustling ranch, it now is one of the area's treasured historic sites. I was chosen as one of 16 artists to visit Boulder County open space sites and paint what I saw. This painting was then chosen to represent Boulder County's 150th Anniversary, and it now hangs in the Boulder County Courthouse. I loved the way the barns sort of tumbled down the hill.
