Description
lilium calas watercolor.
Calla lilies are one of the most beautiful flowers with a unique form of the flower. The calla lily originates from the southern parts of Africa, namely South Africa up to the country Malawi, which is positioned in alignment with the northern border of the African island Madagascar. While spreading over the world the calla lily also became a very popular motif for painters as the form and colours were extremely appealing to the eye of the beholder. It has often been used in many paintings, and is visible in many of Diego Rivera, Tamara de Lempicka and Georgia OKeeffe works of art.
