My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Beautiful picture. Grew up on northshore so wanted something from there. Metal picture really shows the colors and picture quality is very clear.

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

In the segregated South of the early 20th century, Little Rock Central educated the city's white students. Black students attended Dunbar Jr/Sr High School and in 1956 the newly opened Gibbs High School. Following the 1954 US Supreme Court decision in Brown v. Board of Education striking down 'separate but equal' standards used to justify segregation in the South, Little Rock was forced to integrate Central High in 1957, but not without significant civil unrest. Arkansas Gov. Orval Faubus, an avowed segregationist, utilized the Arkansas National Guard to stop black students from entering Central High School. National media quickly descended upon Little Rock to cover the story. In response to Faubus, U.S. President Dwight D. Ei...
