This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

I was not impressed. The picture was not on the whole mug the way the picture shows.
Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, gloss medium, acrylics, painted drawing paper, painted Kraft paper with Gesso and acrylics, wax pastel crayons, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.
Meaning behind the art: This piece was on inspiration for Kandinsky’s work and a quote by Diane Ackrerman, “I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I just lived the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.”
Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfathers farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. Shes continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups. She also co-founded the Midwest Collage Society which exhibits throughout the Midwest region. Her works has won many awards and most recently the 27th Annual Juried Exhibit with the National Collage Society.
