I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

This painting is a scene from a farm I pass frequently on the highway. One autumn day the singular red maple on the perimeter of the farm caught my attention. It was so red against the yellow and the only tree of its kind there. It seemed to me to be nature's approval of individuality.
Since 2007 I have been painting landscapes in acrylics inspired by my backyard and all the beauty of the parks, farms and open spaces where I live in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Most of my paintings are of specific places at certain moments in time, but they are not meant to be representational or even recognizable as a specific place. I think leaving it anonymous allows the viewer to make the place their own place. I do not go out looking for a subject. I let the subject find me.
