JITNY unloading vacationer cars here once ferried US Army troops and armored vehicles to beaches under assault in WW11. My USN duty some 25 years later was aboard LST 1126( Landing Ship Tank) transporting Marines to training exercises in peacetime Pacific. McCalls New Yorker cover hangs above my ship's plaque.

Steam engine locomotives have been a favorite since childhood in the '40s. "Train Race" hangs below a photo of a family member from the '20s in his conductor attire.

Returning home I graduated from the Univ. of New Haven, CT with a degree in the Arts. But I followed another path and that led to 20+ years in retail management. Yet I always found myself drawn to beautiful art and wanted to follow my dream. In 1997, I bought a coffee shop/ 2 art galleries in Lambertville, New Jersey and began painting in earnest. After selling these gallery sites in 2002, I have been able to enjoy the life and times of an artist full time. Now I paint pastels, acrylics, oils, watercolors, and create monoprints...
