Lynx. View of a lynx (Lynx lynx) in snow covered terrain leaping in mid-air. It does this when it is ambushing its prey or when it stalks its prey and then pounces. The lynx is usually most active at sundown. A fully grown lynx has a body length of 80-130 cm and a body weight of up to 45 kg. It preys on rabbits, hares, birds and small deer.
