As I continue to try and develop my photographic style, I often find myself shooting bridges. Iím not sure where this draw stems from but I generally appreciate the way bridges look in photographs. Perhaps itís the symbolism; as bridges are designed to connect people, places and things.
This pedestrian bridge crosses over the Anthony Wayne Trail in Maumee, OH. It connects Fallen Timbers State park with an empty plot of land. It serves little to no purpose and was surely a waste of taxpayer dollars. While some bridges connect lifeís important moments , some simply lead us nowhere.
