About Hans English
Born in 1964, Hans English is into Photography since the early 1980ies. He had his first photo-exhibition called "Pictures of a Wall" covering his visit in West-Berlin under the Soviet siege in 1985 in a Youth Club in his hometown. His first cameras were of the Pentax ME series and when Canon released the very first EOS he switched to Canon. Besides 35mm he also loves his mid-format 6x6 Yashica Mat124G and he used to develop all black and white film and positives in his own lab. Times have changed and the analog cameras are for back-up only now. Mainly using the new EOS System and the Panasonic Lumix with Leica lenses. The main interest is architecture and symmetry or a balance within. Also fascinated of all kind of traces where...
