Description
My dad had a 1929 Chevy convertible like this one. The scene depicts the car in a streetscape of that year in what could be the downtown of any midwest town. In my case it was the old Wellston shopping area in St. Louis County, Missouri.

It's a pleasure to step back in time by studying this painting. The light color of the car shines.

My, how things have changed. I would have loved it like this. Congrats on it taking a 1st place prize. It's a wonderful piece.

You have the most beautiful style - your work is reminiscent of Norman Rockwell with all the delightful detail, the marvelous expressions, and the human interest of his work and yet at the same time, your work is uniquely your own. This one caught my eye because of the exceptional quality of your composition and the fabulous contrasts that just bring this painting to life. Amazing work. F/V FB
