Average Rating (4.94 Stars):

I received my order on time. The image and color are beautiful. Unfortunately, I'm sad that the zipper is damaged and poorly sewn. I have attached a picture of the damaged pillow. I use fine art because I love this specific artist work. I payed for a pillow and expect it to be well made. I cannot give 5 stars due to the manufacturing. The art was beautiful and printed well.

Artist's Description

Siproeta stelenes, commonly known as the Malachite, is a neotropical brush-footed butterfly (family Nymphalidae). The malachite has large wings that are black and brilliant green or yellow-green on the uppersides and light brown and olive green on the undersides. It is named for the mineral malachite, which is similar in color to the bright green on the butterfly's wings. The wingspread is typically between 8.5 and 10 cm (3.3 and 3.9 in). The malachite is found throughout Central and northern South America, where it is one of the most common butterfly species. Its distribution extends as far north as southern Texas and the tip of Florida, to Cuba, as subspecies S. s. insularis (Holland, 1916), and south to Brazil. Adults feed on flower nectar, rotting fruit, dead animals, and bat dung. Females lay eggs on the new leaves of plants in the Acanthaceae family, especially ruellia. The larvae are horned, spiny black caterpillars with red markings.

About Roderick Bley

Timeless Travel We started outNbout visualImaging over 30 years ago to chronicle our visual experiences as we traveled the world on business. We set aside time to absorb and record local cultures, photographing the wonders of the world on a day to day basis. Yet we frequently found ourselves capturing the beauty of the local environment, realizing you dont have to travel to a land far away to find beauty you may find it right outside your back door! Messages in the Moment Because we spend so much time outdoors many of the photos in our collections focus on the elements of nature that surround around us. Whether these visual discoveries are macro scenic shots or micro close-ups we strive primarily, to ensure that nothing is...
