Male magpie-lark (Grallina cyanoleuca). This bird is native to Australia and grows up to 30 centimetres in length. A male magpie-lark can be distinguished from a female by the colour of its plumage around the throat. A male has a black throat and a black stripe that stretches across the eye, whereas a female has a white throat. A It is carnivorous and feeds on a variety of small creatures. Photographed in Sydney Botanical Gardens, Sydney, Australia.
